Memories Book at the printers…

…Some brilliant news came in to me today, The Memories Book has finally gone to the printers.

Inside the book you’ll find a dozen wonderfully written texts by people who have survived cancer, or lost a loved one to the disease. Each touching work is complemented with 12 illustrations by different artists who have interpreted the stories visually. All this has resulted in an incredible looking art book that’s bound to inspire you every time you pick it up.

Best of all, when you buy, the entire cover price will be donated to Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres. The charity helps hundreds of cancer victims and their families every day, and each centre fosters an atmosphere of understanding, support and creativity.

The cover price is an extremely affordable £10 plus shipping fees to any location worldwide. The great price has been made possible thanks to printers Taylor Bloxham and paper sponsor Robert Horne Group.

The team are currently taking pre-orders, so to guarantee your copy please use the link below:

At last I can officially reveal and promote the image that I created for the project to accompany a story by Gordon Kirk following his diagnosis of testicular cancer.  More about that story here.

I was also very proud to have had the image recognised amongst the winners of American Illustration 30.

WHY Fronts - by Paul Garland

So all of you creative people out there if you want to see 144 beautiful pieces of original artwork wonderfully packaged in a gorgeous book for your bookshelf and/or coffee table then the cover price is a steal, but to know that every penny is going to help such a great cause is a massive bonus!
